ALA & SLJ’s Picture Book Palooza

This past month had three significant happenings in my writing life. 1. I had the opportunity to present at the American Library Association Conference about both of my picture book biographies.

2. Publishers Weekly wrote a nice review of SHE SANG FOR THE MOUNTAINS!

3. And tomorrow, (July 15th), I will be presenting at School Library Journal’s Picture Book Palooza:
