Two Different Books, Two Different Awards!

June is a month of celebrations! First and most importantly my son got married. He’s away on his honeymoon, and I can’t wait to see pictures and hear all about it.

On Saturday, June 14th, I signed books at a small book festival in my hometown held at Books & Brew. I had the chance to chat with some old friends and make a couple of new ones.

 

Today I received the awesome news that DANCING IN THE STORM is a nominee for the Kentucky Bluegrass Award for grades 3-5. I am really thrilled about this!

I’m still hard at work on a couple of picture book biographies and hope to have some updates soon.
