Plott Hound Books & Other News!

On June 13th, I spent a delightful afternoon at Plott Hound Books in Burnsville talking about WILD MOUNTAIN IVY and signing books!

and I am honored that our book OF WORDS & WATER–The Story of Wilma Dykeman, Writer, Historian, Environmentalist made the list and will be part of a display at the North Asheville Public Library.

In other good news, an anthology that Amie Darnell Specht and I contributed to won a Bronze Medal at the Independent Book Publishers Awards. Here’s a copy of the book with it’s cool new sticker. All sales proceeds benefit people impacted by Hurricane Helene.

I am so happy for Sophie Page, illustrator of our Storytellers’ Series, who will have a piece of artwork from our book, STORY QUILTS on display at at the Eric Carle Museum.
