Launching Two Books Simultaneously!

I have been so busy, and it shows no sign of letting up!

On February 20th, Amie and I held our book launch for DANCING IN THE STORM. Amie’s parents shared a slide show using pictures from Amie’s childhood, I read my Author’s Note telling how the book came to be, and Amie did a reading from the first chapter. Here’s a picture of her holding a congratulatory coffee mug!

I attended the North Carolina Reading Association Conference and presented with Lester Laminack. Our presentation was about giving and receiving critiques and how our experiences translate to students.
