Summer Marketing & A New Book is Coming!

Let’s talk about the best news first–I signed a contract for a new picture book biography! I’m not at liberty to say more until the illustrator signs her contract, but I have a tentative publication date of April, 2028. Have I mentioned lately that publishing moves at a snail’s pace?

I did not attend ALA, but my books were on full display at both the Lerner and Reycraft booths.

Constance Lombardo and I did a joint appearance on August 9th at Firestorm Books in West Asheville. Since both our books have a water theme, Firestorm had water balloons for the kids and a water-themed puppet show!

I have started posting videos, (reels) on Instagram to bolster my marketing game. So far, I have three up and hope to post one each week. If you’re interested, follow me on that platform.
