#BookBirthdays X 2!

I had two books published last week. FLYING OVER WATER published on October 20th and SAVING GRANDDADDY’S STORIES published on October 22nd. It’s challenging to launch books during a pandemic, but I gave it my best shot.

Reycraft asked me to participate in School Library Journal’s Day of Dialogue and talk about oral storytelling and SAVING GRANDDADDY’S STORIES.

And then my co-author, Naheed Senzai and I participated in two events. The first was a panel at Belmont Books moderated by Sayantani DasGupta:

The following night Naheed and I virtually launched FLYING OVER WATER through The Writing Barn and Tombolo Books:

Lots of other exciting things happening too. Scholastic arranged for FLYING OVER WATER to be featured on Qamar Blog Tours and for Naheed and I to write posts for The Power of Story on the School Library Journal Blog.

Fingers crossed both books are well received and sell a lot of copies!
